Aidan: Squared away at 3 weeks. We had the pleasure of meeting young Aidan Walter this weekend. Although it was a short visit, it was intense and I had the opportunity to observe him in several important contexts as he went about his business. My impression is that he is squared away. When it is time to sleep, he sleeps; time to eat, he eats; time to look around and take things in, he does so earnestly and effectively; time to deal with certain natural functions, he focuses successfully. He doesn't "fuss", he communicates. He does not have to occupy center stage, but when he is thrust into that position, he remains himself. He is quite flexible and tolerant as far as the unimportant is concerned. He digs in his heels only when the essentials are at stake. I like this young man. Its going to be great fun to be one of his grandfathers.
