I'm sorry that we lost the comments, but now I hope that comments will last longer than they used to, and that we might get a bit more functionality out of the comments.
Stay tuned!

Can you put back the links to other blogs along the side?
Scott: the formatting change came after moving to the "new" blogger. But it wasn't necesitated by it.
I'd been meaning to change the formatting for a while, even thinking about moving off of the blogger platform, but the new blogger has the kinds of functions I was interested in, so I'm beginning that reformatting process here.

yep. all that stuff is coming back, very soon. I'm going to do some of it while I'm on vacation.
Was the change precipitated by the Blogger/Google combo? I expect to have to update my blog soon too.
I like the look!
nice work, big M :-)
how do *you* like it so far?
Very interesting that he ditches the comments after we finally extract this science fair admission out of him. Very interesting.
sean: I'm excited about the potential, and am looking forward to exploring more.
The first new functionality I want to add is the "recent comments" function, where we can see quickly and easily who's commented and where.
(sorry, messed up on the first one)
Looks good, yo.
Why did you opt for same-window comments rather than the new window?
Mary: mostly personal preference. I like to be able to read the post and then read all of the comments in one pane.
