[W]e're eager to hear from former Michigan Congressman Bart Stupak, who
for a brief moment led a faction of pro-life Democrats against ObamaCare
in 2010. They surrendered when Mr. Obama gave them the fig leaf of an
executive order that will supposedly prevent federal funds from
subsidizing abortions. Mr. Stupak is now a lobbyist at the D.C. law firm
Venable LLP.
-from yesterday's WSJ editorial, decrying the HHS regulation that draws the Obamacare "religious exception" so narrowly that even left-wing Catholic bishops are up in arms.
Ken and I remember Bart Stupak. But the man at least paid for his transgressions. Knowing that he would not be re-elected, he decided not to run again. Life is tough in America, though, now the poor man is out on the streets.
No, wait . . .
